Liquid D-Thatch is a maintenance product designed to compost thatch faster by encouraging microbial activity at the soil surface and increasing heat. With regular yearly applications during the summer, it can help keep thatch buildup in the lawn to a minimum.

The secret to this product's effectiveness lies in its molasses content. The sugars in the molasses attract and nourish microbes, which then turn to the thatch as a secondary food source once the molasses has been consumed.

Liquid D-Thatch is not a replacement for mechanical dethatching. However, if your lawn's thatch is manageable or just starting to get out of hand, you can apply D-Thatch 3-4 times throughout the summer, and it will gradually break down the thatch over time.

To apply, mix 6-9 oz of the product per gallon of water in a backpack or pump sprayer, and spray it evenly across 1,000 sq ft of lawn. There's no need to water it in afterwards - simply let it sit.
